Research Lounge

The Research Lounge

Conversations about clinical research

Conversations about clinical research

The Research Lounge was created by patients who contributed to the UKCRF Network Conference held in Nottingham in 2019.

The idea was to provide a relaxed, informal opportunity for researchers, patients and members of the public to discuss ideas and issues in clinical research.

Since June 2019, we’ve been developing the Research Lounge to include a range of opportunities for face-to-face and now online conversations.

The Virtual Lounge

To support the rapid development of clinical research trials for COVID-19 we moved online, setting up the COVID-19 Taskforce and organising a regular programme of Research Lounge conversations online.
